Cinco de Mayo

The weather here is sparkling clear; it should be a great day for all the outdoor celebrations. Grab yourself a cerveza, put on your favorite Tejano artist (another warning: page has streaming sound), kick back and enjoy another culture (or perhaps your own!) for a little while.

    Oh, jams, it surpassed any pun I've ever committed...

    That reminds me of one of my other favorites (yes, I'm the guilty party). How is it that when the great Indy car driver and Indy 500 winner Al Unser Jr. wins a race, all his competitors are nonetheless Unser-passed? [Say it aloud.]
