The new immigrant diaspora will be Americans fleeing tyrannies like South Dakota, and other autocratic white male cesspools like them----Maine, South Carolina and other neo-Confederacy states come to mind. Or, Latino's take over fascist states like Arizona and clean up the mess.
ReplyDeletemandt, do you really think people can run away from this sort of thing? Who would have predicted 30 years ago that any state in the Union would have laws like that?
ReplyDeleteThe Europeans I have talked to about American politics think we, or at least some among us, are stark raving crazy for putting up with what they rightly see as oppression and denial of human rights.
