Not-Friday Cat Blogging

The ladies are almost the same size. But it is rare indeed to see Esther (foreground) and Lily on the woolly mat together:

ESTHER AND LILY

  1. It's nice to see they get along, as that is not always the case after weening.

Lily still has a way to go to match Esther in overall size.

  2. And, those kittah toys are pretty cool too!

  3. jams, Bryan, mandt...

jams, they do look sweet... and Esther actually IS sweet. Lily probably will be sweet someday; I can only hope it comes soon.

Bryan, actually they don't get along all that well day to day. Usually Lily pesters Esther until Esther whirls and challenges her, though once in a while Esther starts something. If Esther is not around, Lily will find a human to challenge... she's about as irritating a kitten as I've ever known, and it's not wearing off nearly as quickly as I had hoped.

mandt, those gals have a sizable basketful of toys to choose from. You talk about spoiled...

  5. ellroon, please remind me of that when Lily (aka Pester) is careening around the kitchen and den (where I sleep) at 3 or 4 in the morning. That kit is like a human teenager: biologically adult (we just had her spayed a few weeks ago) but emotionally and behaviorally a child.
