Quiet Tonight... Kitties Tomorrow!

Sometime tomorrow, through Stella's efforts and with blessings from the spirits of Tabitha and Samantha, our household is scheduled to be two cats richer. All I'll say at this point is that one is a kitten and the other is its mother, and I am accustoming myself to the notion of a few more claw marks and bite marks in my hand. Watch this blog for details... and maybe even pictures!

  1. That's exciting. Best of luck with the new roomies. I keep leaning toward another dog but Madam insists on reminding me that it is possible that I will outlive one. Now that I am home most days a companion would be nice but it is a big responsibility. Fortunately I can 'borrow' minimonk's every once in a while.

  3. There must be pictures, there's a kitten involved.

  4. Best of all, Stella has relocated the litter box, and it is no longer six feet from my easy chair! :-)

There will be pics, if indeed I can point and shoot fast enough to catch the kitten. Perhaps if mom-cat still bathes her occasionally...

  6. Paul - WTF? Am I speaking to Paul M.?

Tabitha and Samantha died within a few months of each other last year, both at ripe old ages. Eventually, Stella recovered sufficiently to take in two more kitties. Her vet had put some up for adoption. Lucky kitties!

BTW, if you're not Paul M., please be aware, as the regulars will tell you, that I have a very low tolerance for bullshit in the comment threads. If you're not here to bullshit us, then welcome! Otherwise, you have been warned...
