Every Senator who voted against renewal of the Violence Against Women Act was male. And Republican. Draw your own conclusions.

ReplyDeletejams, Republicans, including women, are far and away the most committed partisan voters. One after another, the elderly ladies of the GOP enter the voting booth and choose the straight-party ticket. Often they don't even know the candidates, only the party... but they do it anyway. Their ranting, gun-toting husbands aren't any better. Sad, actually.
