Accompanying the cautions against what Ozzy is about to do to Kansas City is a link to Westboro's "parody" of Ozzy's hit Crazy Train. The parody was first rolled out late last year while the Westboro crew was arguing before the Supreme Court for their right to hold anti-gay protests outside military funerals. The outcome of that case is still pending.

They've written a parody of Osbourne's song Crazy Train. Read it at the link above... preferably not close to mealtime. As writing, it is a real pile of craft.
So of course you decided to
ReplyDeletepun-ish us! LOL
I read the parody site of the Phelps "ministry" for almost a year before I discovered that it was actually about a real group, and the site wasn't nearly as over-the-top as the group itself.
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself that this is part of the price we pay for the First Amendment, but that gets harder to justify as time goes by.
At least Phelps and his family are under exclusion orders here(They try to enter the UK they will simply be sent back on the next flight. The same applies to David Dukes).
ReplyDeleteIf I were Ozzy I would be bloody angry too.
One thing that surprises me though is that the Westboros have not had the crap beaten out of them at one of their funeral protests
Jams, they have. But they're always careful to videotape and document it when someone assaults them at these funeral protests then filing a civil lawsuit against the person who assaulted them -- remember, they're all trained lawyers. It's their principle source of income, suing the people who assault them. What, how else do you think they can afford to roam around the nation in a van, with to day's gas prices?!
ReplyDelete- Badtux the Lawsuit-abuse Penguin
Ah point taken Badtux.. Still I wonder how my videotaping can be done with the cameras inserted where the son doesn't shine!
ReplyDeleteThose Westboro Church folk are just plain nuts. I'm glad they don't live near me.
