President Obama Failed To Mention Why Government Was Spying On MLK

Enfant, the last time I actually participated in-person at an MLK, Jr. Day event, it was with a group of Democrats. The organizers chose... I couldn't have asked for a better choice... to have three people each read a part of "Beyond Vietnam" rather than the "I Have a Dream" speech. That was early in the Bush Jr. version of the Iraq war, and the speech was as powerful then as it was during the Vietnam war. King's relevance today is as great as ever.
