MLK And Morning Miscellany

Some articles about the great man (yes, I'm a day late); some about some not-so-great men and one equally not-so-great woman:
and last and not least,
Paraphrasing the shortest Bible verse, "MLK wept."

    1. Enfant, the last time I actually participated in-person at an MLK, Jr. Day event, it was with a group of Democrats. The organizers chose... I couldn't have asked for a better choice... to have three people each read a part of "Beyond Vietnam" rather than the "I Have a Dream" speech. That was early in the Bush Jr. version of the Iraq war, and the speech was as powerful then as it was during the Vietnam war. King's relevance today is as great as ever.
