ReplyDeleteWhat happened to clarity of thought? Have misfortunes been release, or has something hidden been revealed?
ReplyDeleteIf it were changed along the lines of : 'The cat is out of the bag - Pandora's box has been opened!', it would still be clunky, but would make some sense.
Metaphors are useful for conveying concepts in a condensed form, but you have to know what the concepts are before you use them.
