Observation
One often hears it said that when Congress is in session, one's pocketbook is not safe. Let me add by analogy that when the current Supreme Court is in session, one's liberties are in danger. And when the president calls secret meetings to choose extrajudicial assassination targets...

It is perfectly clear to many of us now that democracy is dead in America. We have lost our Republic and face our remaining years living in an increasingly lesser evil. I suppose decent people in Germany too were amazed at how quickly fascism took over. Sad days these. If I were younger and healthier I would join an underground and fight like hell.
ReplyDeletekarmanot, see my next post. With the latest SCOTUS rulings, I believe we are well and truly done for. A constitutional amendment to remedy the damage of Citizens United will never happen, because TPTB don't want it to happen. I have seldom felt more despair for our nation.
