... by a large majority.
I will not cast aspersions on the people of Wisconsin for choosing the governor they want. But I will say that Scott Walker loves his mother more literally than anyone I know.

You, sir, are a master of your craft.
ReplyDeleteit ended up being not quite as large a majority as it seemed when you posted this last night. when the race was called, barrett was behind by around 15-20%. but once votes from dane county (where madison is) and milwaukee were counted he ended up being behind by only 7 points (still definitive, but less embarrassing)
ReplyDeleteellroon, thank you. Just call me Master Bates...
ReplyDelete'noz, it's difficult for us self-proclaimed liberals with some knowledge of American history to forget or ignore what Wisconsin once was and acknowledge what it is today: less Bob La Follette country and more Iowa East. Liberals are not absent there, but they do not dominate as they once did, and with enough money spent... and Walker's boys certainly spent it... a Republican can hold any office s/he chooses there.
