Saturday Sign

It's sort of like kindergarten...

... but for baby pandas, to teach them the basics, such as stripping eucalyptus leaves bamboo [h/t Anya for the correction] with their non-thumb, looking terminally cute to humans, etc. (Seriously, it's a decent Chinese restaurant; we used to go there occasionally before we grew afraid of eating food imported from China.)

  2. Just an FYI, Steve. Pandas eat bamboo, not eucalyptus which doesn't grow in the mountains of China. It's the other bear-like, endangered critter in Australia that eats eucalyptus. :-)

  3. Anya, I sit corrected. Anytime I dredge something up out of my memory instead of looking it up these days, I get it wrong. I'm following in my mother's footsteps; by age 65, she had full-blown Alzheimer's...
