Last U.S. WW I Vet Dies At 110

His name was Frank Buckles. Perhaps he could simply no longer live with U.S. wars such as Iraq and Afghanistan that "make the world safe for military contractors democracy."

  1. I loved my Dad dearly and miss him. He was a war hero and modest in all ways about the horrors he saw and experienced. I am, however, glad he did not live to see what this nation has become, how low it has descended, and how it is run by cowardly chicken hawks, Shame.

  2. Ah Frank Buckles has died? Now there are just two WWI vets left alive - Claude Choules and Florence Green
